William T. Marshall II (“Ted”) brings over 36 years’ experience to the security and investigation industry.

 

Ted began his career in the United States Air Force and graduated from the Air Force Security Police Academy. During the Vietnam War, he served with the Combat Security Police K-9 teams protecting U.S. Air Force bases. Stateside, he was assigned to Strategic Air Command protecting Alert B-52 Bombers armed with nuclear weapons. His duties also included transportation and storage protection of nuclear weapons.

1965 - Graduated Tarpon Springs High School Tarpon Springs, Florida.

1966-1968 - Republic of Vietnam Alpha Company 3rd Recon Battalion, 3rd

       Marine Division  Primary A.O. was the I Corp area. 

     -  One of the first classes to attend the new Sniper School in country, in

       addition to extensive Jungle Warfare with many and varied objectives. Khe

       Sanh & Hue Phu Bai (2 weeks) 

1968 -  Alpha Company 2nd Recon Battalion, 2nd Marine Division. Team was     

       assigned aggressor duty against one Battalion of Marine on Mediterranean 

       operations, primarily Sardinia and Corsica along with the assistance of the

       French Foreign Legion.

     - Promoted E-5 Sgt, in under 3 years (not a record but close)

     -  Made platoon Sgt then acting platoon commander (2nd lieutenant position)

       “Alpha” Company,2nd Recon Battalion for the remainder of my time of

       active duty in the United States Marine Corp, teaching about every aspect

       of Recon Marines mission and accomplishing the requirements to obtain

       the coveted MOS (8650,8651,8652,8653,8654)

1971 -  Attended 480 hour Pinellas Police Academy - Pinellas County, Fl

     - Attended 40 hours of breathalyzer school

     - Made Team Leader Scuba Team

     - Made threat analysis and adequate response Team Leader

     -  As time marched on, I was promoted to E-6 Staff Sergeant. Assumed

       responsibilities of Field 1st  Sergeant Range and Weapons training and 

       all aspects of military police procedures both in the field and garrison

Phil Peplinski (Master Instructor) brings over 30 years of experience to the protection industry. 

Military Experience – United States Air Force     He began his career in the United States Air Force where his duties included: Criminal Investigation Photography, Autopsy Photography, Accident Investigation Photography, and In-Flight Photography.   

     He served as a member of law enforcement with the US Air Force Police and earned Expert marksmanship awards for both rifle and pistol. 

Professional Experience

      Phil also has extensive background in hospital emergency room security. His duties at Tampa General Hospital included: prisoner control during medical clearance procedures, control of psychiatric patients, and maintaining security in the Level 1 Trauma Center.

Martial Experience

      As Chief Instructor of Marshall Combatives, Master Phil Peplinski brings over 20 years of martial arts experience. 

His knowledge of tactical weapons and defensive tactics training are crucial elements to the Marshall Combatives program. He is a World Head of Sokeship Council Instructor of the Year, is on the Board of Directors for the American Hapkido Federation, has the leading Torite-jutsu school in the state of Florida, trains officers of various law enforcement agencies (including SWAT), members of US military counter-terrorism, intelligence, and special operations, instructs security personnel (including the largest nightclub in the Tampa Bay area), and has spent nearly the last decade studying, in depth, street-level confrontations. This culmination of experience, research, and practical application has spawned a devastatingly effective approach to the professional security and protection industries.

Mark Liverio volunteered for service with the United States Navy during the final stages of the Persian Gulf War and reported for Recruit Training one week after his 18th birthday. He was selected as a member of a Joint Deployable Intelligence Support team while stationed at the Atlantic Intelligence Command. His duties there, combined with a TS/SCI+ (Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information Plus) Security Clearance, included the safeguarding of US Navy cryptographic and COMSEC intelligence materials. During his service with Naval Intelligence he earned a Joint Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, US Navy Good Conduct Medal and, a US Navy Sharpshooter (Pistol) Medal.

Professional Experience

    Mark stepped down as Assistant Director of Admissions for a Florida-based private university to teach Adult Basic Education, General Education Development and VPI full-time for Hillsborough County Public Schools.

    He volunteers part-time as a teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages with a local non-profit institution.

    He is the recipient of the Hillsborough Technical, Career and Adult award for Outstanding Rookie Teacher of the Year 2007-2008.

    He co-authored, along with Captain Ben Liner, USN (Ret.), the Mil-Tech novel Unseen Terror – published under the pseudonym Brian Lee.

    Mark can be seen in the independent short film The Tunnel where he takes on the role of government operative Michael Jensen (lead protagonist). William W.Steinbacher Jr. has over 10 years of    experience in the private sector of the security industry and 4 years of working as a correctional officer.

 

           William began his career in the night club of Seaside Heights, New Jersey. He has worked many night clubs with some reaching capacities of over 6,000 patrons in the North New Jersey area. He then transitioned into the casino security industry of Atlantic City which led to his position as the Original Crowd Control Specialist Supervisor of Borgata Casino, Hotel, and Spa. He was the supervisor of all security assigned to the night clubs, bars, special events, and executive protection for the Borgata. He trained the crowd control specialists in their defensive tactics and use of force policies.

 

           William relocated to Missouri where he worked for the Boone County Sheriff's Department located in Columbia Missouri as Correctional Officer. There he brought knowledge and skills that were implemented into the department's training. He then accepted a position as an officer within the Missouri Department of Corrections. There he became a member of the prison's tactical team "Emergency Squad". William was also assigned as an instructor within the prison's team of defensive tactics instructors and taught the tactical team in advanced hand to hand combat.
